Ingredients for the cream cheese frosting:

• 4 ounces of cream cheese, soft

• 2 tbsp. of butter, unsalted and soft

• ¼ tsp. of pure vanilla

• 1 ½ cups of confectioner’s sugar

• 1 to 2 tbsp. of milk, whole

• 1 cup of Oreo cookies, chopped and for topping

Directions:

1. First heat up the oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is heating up grease a large donut pan.

2. Use a large bowl and add in the all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, dash of salt, powdered cocoa and baker’s style baking powder. Stir well to mix.

3. Add in the pure vanilla, large egg, melted butter and whole milk. Gently stir until evenly mixed.

4. Pour the batter in the donut pan, making sure to fill each donut cup ¾ of the way full.

5. Place into the oven to bake for 10 mins or until the donuts are completely baked through. Remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

6. While the donuts are cooking make the frosting. To do this use a large bowl and add in all of the ingredients for the frosting except for the Oreo cookies. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth in consistency.

7. Spread the frosting onto each of the donuts, making sure to spread it evenly.

8. Top off with the Oreo cookies and serve.
